Privacy notice
This notice says what StopWarden and this website collect, where it is kept, for how long, and how to have it deleted. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You join the waitlist on this site | Your email address, the time you signed up and which page you signed up from. To limit abuse, your IP address is held for about two minutes in a rate-limit counter, then it expires. | To send one email when StopWarden opens |
| The Software checks your licence (Protect only) | Your licence key, a hashed machine id and the StopWarden version. To limit abuse, your IP address is held for about two minutes in a rate-limit counter, then it expires. | To confirm the key is active and used on the number of machines your plan allows |
| The Software checks for a newer version (once a day, every copy) | A plain request for the latest version number. It carries no licence key and no machine id. Like any web request it reaches our server from your PC's IP address; our code does not record it. | To tell you when an update exists |
| Paid plans (planned: nothing is sold yet) | When paid plans open, Whop will handle the purchase. We will receive your Whop membership status and the email attached to it, and we will never see your card. | To issue and renew your licence key |
| You send a diagnostics bundle to support | The files you chose to send: logs, settings, doctor output and NinjaTrader log excerpts, with passwords, bot tokens, webhook URLs and licence keys removed. They can still contain your account and strategy names. | To help you with the problem you asked about |
Nothing about your trades goes to us on its own. The Software does not send your positions, orders, fills, account names, balances, strategy names or NinjaTrader credentials to us. Alerts go from your PC to the Telegram chat or Discord webhook you set up; an alert can name your account and position, so keep that chat private.
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics script. Link and button labels in the page's markup are used for nothing outside the page. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking script, and no fingerprinting.
Where it is kept
Waitlist entries and licence records are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a global store run by Cloudflare. Diagnostics bundles are kept in the support mailbox. When paid plans open, Whop will store your billing details under its own privacy policy.
How long
- Waitlist entries: kept until you ask us to remove them. Email support to be removed.
- Licence records: while your subscription is active plus 90 days.
- Licence-check results are cached on the server for 10 minutes and on your PC for up to 7 days so that Protect keeps working through a short outage.
- Diagnostics bundles: until your support request is closed plus 30 days.
Your rights
Email support to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We delete within 30 days. Deleting a licence record ends Protect on that key. You can leave the waitlist by emailing support.
Children
StopWarden is not for anyone under 18.
